Life Update

I know that I haven't posted anything in a while, so here is my life update:
Today is the end of quarter one in school, so next week I will be starting three knew exploratories, and on my report card, I have gotton all A's. Also, Mark Albert wants me to play on Hamilton's seventh grade AAU basketball team, so I'll be playing in all of the up-coming tournaments. So I'm pretty exited about that. Also, I made Hamilton's Science Olympiad team, and will be competing on the Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving on Montana State Universitie's Campus. My event is Experimental Design, and when we get there, we will attend the Museum of the Rockies' Sciece Night. They will have alot of exhibits and will be showing a presentation in the planatarium.
Last week, I had a choir concert, we worked hard for it and did a very well job. Now we are working on our Christmas concert, which I will sing in, and it will be held in about three weeks. Also, I will be going to the Spokane temple tomorrow, for the seond time to do baptisms for the dead. I will leave in the morning, arrive at the temple, and when we're done, before we return we will go to an all-you-can-eat buffet. I'm looking forward for that an will post my experience whe I get back. Well, I hope you are updated enough, because that is about all I've got:)

Griz Football

This weekend, my friend Ellie and her family took me along to the Grizz football game on Saturday. I spent the night at her house on Friday, we had pizza and watched Glory Road. The next day we went to the game, all bundled up and warm. We watched the game excitedly and were happy when the Montana Grizzlies won against the other California team. After the win, we went down on the field, tossed a football that Katie brought, and we got some autoghraphs and got to talk to all the players! My favorite is number 32, he is very nice and had very curly hair. Anyway, the trip was fun and I'm glad that Ellie took me along:).

Spirit Week

This week at Hamilton Middle School, is spirit week. We dress up differently every day ( accordingly ) to show our spirit and encourage our high school football team. Monday was disco day, but I didn't dress up ( I know, party pooper, right?). I did dress up for tacky Tuesday with some sixties glasses, pj pants and a retro headband. I didn't get a prize, though not quite as tacky as other people. Wednesday was disney character day, and again I didn't dress up. But, today, twin Thursday, my friend Savannah and I ended up being twins when we both showed up for school wearing sport sweats and hoodies. So, we were twins for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is Spirit day , I'll probably dress up. The stupid thing is, that actually, there is no homecoming game tomorrow. Anaconda copperheads had to forfit. Nineteen of their players have swine flue, so they gave the win the Hamilton. I'm happy that we "won", but kind of upset about it. Anyway, the week has been fun, and I had a good time:).

Cardinal Basketball

So, this year , of course I've joined the seventh grade basketball team for the Hamilton Colts.I've been playing the positions euro and wing. Though, I feel like I do better on defense then I do on offense. My coaches say that I am real good at boxing out, so what the heck, I'll agree with them:). Our season is almost done, and so far, we've been undefeated. Our last game is against Stevensville on Monday, which of course I'm not nervous at all about:). I'm really (actually) kind of excited! My number is 32 ( which is totally different than all of the other numbers I've had for sports: 4, 12, 7. I never get the same number). But I really think that our team is good, but needs some work if we want to make the eighth grade cuts. Because so many girls went out for basketball this year, hamilton had to make two seventh grade teams: Cardinal (me), and Silver(not me). Throughout the whole season, neither team has gotten beat once. So, they might want us to play each other. I guess that means that we have good coaches (great coaches). Mine is Coach Jessop, my friend Carlie's dad. The other coach is Coach Anderson, Hagan's P.E. teacher. They are both really nice, and I'm sad the season is ending.

Haeli's Bridal Shower

So, for the past couple weeks, Katie R. and I have been planning Haeli's bridal shower. It was hard work, but it was fun. I made these really cool invitations, but didn't get all of them out untill a week before the shower. Even though I sent out like forty invites, a good twenty-five or so of the people showed up. The food was good, the games were fun, and the conversations were great. Everybody had a good time, and Haeli got alot of cool presents.
All in all, it was great and everybody was happy.
