Thank You, Thanksgiving

So this year for Thanksgiving, for the first time in a long time, we had the whole big family! Anneke, Haeli, and I all woke up early to drive down to Missoula for the Turkey Trot. It was an 8K ( 4.978ish miles ), which surprised me, because I ran three and a half miles without training for a thousand years!I had to walk (briskly) the other one and a half, because I REALLY had to go to the bathroom! Yet, I felt proud of myself, and after which we ate at Denny's. (Hae ordered the Grand Slamwich).

We drove back, and were busy packing things to head down to my mom's boss' cabin by Painted Rocks. We Arrived, and where surprised with...... Snow!!! We hauled all of the food and bags in, and marked our sleeping territory (with our pillows). Mamma was fixing dinner, and the whole family was watching the Broncos play (dang Orton!)and playing Apples To Apples. We continued the apple game until we ran out of red cards.

Following the family tradition, we all wrote a small Christmas list with our names on it. We then folded and put them into Hagan's hat. Each of us drew a name to go Christmas shopping for, secretly. I'm not going to tell who I got, though. Just wait and find out.....

I guess I should show some of the DELICIOUS food we had for Thanksgiving dinner.

So, thank you, Thanksgiving, for bringing our family toghether and letting us have a great time.
